hey chompi, whats the process like if you get a bad trainer and want to switch? Do you just call them from your cell phone and tell them, and then they redirect the driver back to the terminal, or what?

What if he has a ###### attitude and treats you badly and isnt giving you the proper chance to train yourself. I read a post recently where the trainer was trying to borrow money and all kinds of stuff. Sure thats not as serious as pissing in a truck, but who wants to be with a trainer that has a crappy negative attitude or treats u like crap because you refuse to loan them money?

Yes, just call dispatch or safety and let them know what's going on and they will get you a different trainer. Happens all the time, so its not a real big deal.
Central helped us get a settlement from Volvo due to constant breakdowns in two brand new trucks.

good info on here first time posting was gonna go with pam and c1 could have swore I read that once you go solo you start at .26 cpm and going over a checklist before I can go further notice it says only 17 1//2 cpm. I guess alot of the stuff I read was outdated, they won't even pay for you to get up there. Still doing more research on starter companies, almost had myself talked into it and biting the bullet.

I was accepted to Pam, however waiting on Millis seems to be the best fit for me. Prime you have to ride with another driver for a longer period after schoo,l but looks good as well from what I've researched. Also, I have the money to pay a private school and this was my 1st option, what swayed me was immediate job placement, sure I could go hustle up something but in a learning phase and just selling my home made long haul seem like the wiser choice. Gotta put in the time somewhere.
