The real money maker in oilfield operations - renting housing to workers .
-
sounds that way have heard there charging 900 to 1000 month to park a rv a person could make more turning a old cow pasture into a rv park then ever did off cows
-
There are Co' s paying for housing - full medical - 401k but they are very hard to get into without prior experience.
There has been too much over exposure of ND, the more the pessimism with ND the better, people are leaving buy the bus & train load, at some point it will level off and we can get back to some normality, so don't even think about coming here unless you have a job & housing in writingironmule Thanks this. -
Can you live in a van in ND or TX?
-
Can you?
I can do anything I put my mind and body into achieving.
What I can do and what you can do are probably completely different. You may freeze to death or boil alive for all we know. Only one way to find out, and it's not asking on a messageboard.Last edited by a moderator: Mar 22, 2014

EVERYTHING in the oilfield wants to kill you. And it will as soon as it gets a chance. Be it the weather, animals/insects, fire, explosions, thousands of pounds of iron falling on you, shrapnel from pressure failures flying through the air or something as simple as falling off the truck. Or yes, breathing in toxic fumes all day long.

or the snakes, warming up next to battery tanks...they get a little bit upset when molested. LOL

During 11 days of training for the oil field we were told each day, a new thing that could get you fired and a new thing that could kill you.
