Tonight I am sitting in sioux city delivering tomorrow at bomgaars...I had a great load coming out of the house that paid good but the appointments sucked....the brokered load im dragging isnt bad either....im guessing tyson pickup tomorrow...probably going to e eryones favorite city in illinois....hopefully home this weekend again...dales been pretty good about getting me home for the weekend even with hours to do something....and jays good at chasing me out of the house..but makes it worth my while...so im happy...

 

Hoping to get back into waynesboro so I can get back into 813, it threw a check engine light into my plans for the weekend, and I wound up taking 747 out as a loaner.... What a junkpile, found the door broken on the fridge, had to throw the previous driver's garbage out plus it stinks so bad of cigarette smoke its hard to breathe, bad enough I'm allergic to that crap!plus I miss having the inverter, microwave, and something to keep stuff cold. If they give me a load toward the house, that'll be great , I got a brand new Spyder waiting for me to jump on and seek out the twisty back roads!!!

Craig retired...Ron was the fill in then became the weekend guy...now the regular guy....Leah still does nights...


so what I thought my appt time was wrong...Im still waiting to get unloaded cause someone dropped the ball on making an appt time...(the broker)...uggg hopefully get worked in sometime today....then I get a load going to chicago (figured as much) then probably back home for the weekend...yay

 

hi guys, as a new driver what kind of truck would i get, i really don't care for volvo's.

 

Well, if you don't care for volvos, you're in luck. The new batch went to the long-term guys. You're looking at a kw 660. I don't know if there are any 386s left. I've been gone for...wow, almost 5 months.

 

Ron was also a driver for quite a while I guess. He knows most of the shippers and receivers first hand. He's been very helpful to me a few times already for parking and procedures at shippers/receivers.

I was told by shop ill be getting a new truck very soon, so I guess ill be getting a kw since I'm new here at van wyk. Right now I'm in Volvo 484k miles oh well doesn't matter to me as long as she runs good without breakdowns ill be happy
