So my temp control knob in my cab doesn't work, shop has no idea, they changed the knob unit which is one piece, no fix. I can turn the knob all the way to cold and it still blows red hot heat. Both the other knobs work fine and the bunk temp knob works fine, just the cab doesn't. Shop also replaced the valve under the hood for the heater core flow, supposed to shut the flow off when you turn the knob to cold but no response. Spring is coming and I don't wanna sweat my butt off in here haha any suggestions?? Thanks y'all!

Is there a thermostat for your bunk heater ? I know you said cab , but in the new cascadia's the heater in the cab and in the bunk are in conjuction with each other. Maybe the thermostat has a problem . Not very familiar with the KW's , I always leave my vent open on the cascadia , the thermostat switch does not work well either , its either hot or cold , there is no in between. Makes you wonder how a company can sell a truck for over 140 G's and it has problems off the bat.

Right haha naw even if I turn the bunk temp all the way on cold it will freeze you out of the bunk but the cab still feels like a sauna. I'm gettin real annoyed with paclease over this because they ain't dedicating much time to fixing it and spring is around the corner, I'll park this thing before I will sweat my butt off in here over this deal. Thanks for the reply though!

Everybody told KW was the hot set up ! Now you know what they were talking about! No shut offs under the hood ? Kill the heat once and for all till they can figure it out.

Yeah, windshield wiper fluid starts to leak out at various times too . Sometimes the compression brake works sometimes not , same with the cruise. And I don't know about you but I find the button on the smart wheel a PITA . I know you can still toggle it on the dash , but its a rocker style switch , some pencil pusher said toggle switches were dangerous in an accident , therefore every new truck unless you retrofit it has a rocker switch . More plastic . I have to say though out of all the aerodynamic trucks I actually like the 660 I think its a good looking gal . The cascadia does the job but it is ugly as hell.

No shut off valve under the hood, that was the first place I went. And yeah I agree Brock I love this thing, beautiful truck and it rides and drives like a caddy, 500 cummins under the hood, pulls like a mule! If I can just get this bug worked out ill be happy

If it's it's anything like a car there is a blend door under the dash in front of the passenger seat that the temperature knob controls. Some have a cable, some work on vacuum but on cars usually that blend door arm or vacuum solenoid breaks. I'm not familiar with KW's so I can't tell you specifically. But that's what I would look for. It should be near the heater core duct.
