I'd rather drive a Mack B-81 non turbo 673P with a quad box for the right money.

Than a brand new Pete with all the bells and whistles for the wrong money

    P.S.
i also want a truck with lots of positive caster. The new trucks don't come with that for some reason. (?)

More to add to the fray:

Interestingly enough, there are actually 2 separtate completely different Payne companies. One is based out of winnipeg and the other out of virginia.

Payne trucking, Fredricksburg, Va. (non-exclusive T-2000 and 387's, but also centuries i think)
Payne transportation, Winnipeg, Man. (also, i believe non-exclusive)

Stevens transport (T-2000's) But i don't recoment them.

TMC Is strictly Peterbilts now. They have some old KW's floating around, but they are taking them little by little and selling them off.

We have 387's, 379's, and are getting 388's.

It's just too bad they castrate them poor kitty CAT's :*(

i went into trucking to make money, if i can drive a red wagon and make money , i will let it ride.

but then i do drive a kenworth t-600 , but the first truck i owned was a 1976 international transtar II with no power steering and no a/c , 290 hp small cam cummins and a 13 speed, paid 1250 bucks for it and ran it all over the country for 4 and 1/2 years.

she wasnt pretty but it was a high profit ride.

    corneileous and 48Packard Thank this.
