You might think this, but there are many that feel it has already happened under the current administration.

I just knew this thread would turn political as soon as you asked why.

But then again, he asked and then he led into it......

But he is correct, now is not a time to venture into the industry.

Agreed, but very good advise about the industry. I am not sure what the future holds with the fuel prices and the sporadic freight.

I hear some people saying freight is good, others saying it is slow. It really depends on the product.

Never knew trucking could be a barometer.

My business is good right now. We haul a lot of cars to the buy here/pay here dealers, and then LOTS of repos back to the auctions.

How ever from my friends in other parts of the industry, vans/flats, are not doing so great.

Anubody can helps me with engines?
I know about Cummins that this engine doesnt work in winter. There are some problems with start in -15C -20C temperature. Is it true?
I will chose detroit or CAT, but they are so powerfull :biggrin_25524:and expensive :biggrin_25510:. In russia there arent mountains and a 420Hp engine run well with most kind of freight
