My opinion on TMC is there a good company to work for, especially if your just getting out of the Military and transitioning into civilian life. I have never worked for them but hear a lot of good stuff about them through other drivers who drive for them. I was trying to get on with them at one time, but they never approved my application for some reason they wouldn't explained.. Word of advise for when you go to orientation or just around the main terminal is don't walk on the grass... The owner apparently pays 2 million a year to keep it looking green and will fire anyone walking on it. Good luck on your venture

I only drove for them for 3 months back in 2011 but, I only left because wife got her CDL and we now team. Anyway, you will like them.. They kept me busy M-F and I was home every weekend. No guarantee's on that though, depends on where you live. Anyway,,another flatbed company to look at is Maverick. The only thing I didn't like about TMC is; trucks go 60, have to use their CB's and their tarp pay sucks,,,and you have to tarp most loads. Equipment is top notch. They are a great company to start your flatbed career with. So is Maverick, from what I have read anyway.... Good luck

Yes you do have to use their CB's and antennas. Just hang with them for 6 months or longer and you can move to Keen Transport or someone else. TMC is a good place to get started and get your experience. The other poster was right about the grass at the Corporate Terminal but, your used to keeping your bearing when around brass...lol

    JNaum and Kash6972 Thank this.

I think you need a year to go over to Keen. I was looking into them at one point but decided to head to ATS... I like there lease program they have there.
