Drug Rehab

You didn't ask for my opinion so I will keep it to myself.

To answer the question you did ask: Find a local Narcotics Anonymous group to speak with they will be able to give you information on how to find a rehab. Most states also have resources to get you pointed in the right direction. The local health and human services dept would be a good place to start.

 

Wrong. Most of us were smart enough to quit a long time ago. Most of us were smart enough not to touch the stuff again when we started driving. This driver wasn't smart enough...he was stupid. After 28 years driving, you'd think he would know better. I don't feel one bit sorry for him.

 

I will be the only one to tell you the truth and what you need to do.... 1. you have a choice to make, do you want to work for the same company or go somewhere else, if you want to go somewhere else, just go you don't have to worry about anything, just apply for a job and start driving somewhere else, you don't have to do nothing, under the law. 2. if you want to stay with the same company, you will be down for 60 days, you need to get a program and pee till its clean, once its clean, you need 3 strait clean pees, the normal is 1 per week, then you need to take a back to work pee, then when your back to work you will take 6 per year, that's the max under the law, you don't have to beg for your job back, your company has to take you back its federal law, drug abuse is considered a disease, it falls under the ''medical disease act'' your boss has to give you one more chance under federal law, the only time they don't is if you were in an accident and someone was hurt or killed, if it was just a random test you are not allowed to be fired under federal law.. so make up your mind, do you want to go through all of that or just wait 30 days till your clean and go drive for someone else its up to you, and if you go to the program its paid through health insurance you don't pay a dime......

 

Not allowed to be fired under federal law? Wrong (as in, you must be kidding). You apparently live in a world that none of the rest of us know about.

 

You first have to go thru an s.a.p.program.(substance abuse program)Do a search for an sap in your area.A few meetings and some out patient counseling and your almost done.Your old company does NOT have to give you your job back.But there are a few out who may hire you after you finish the program.Then you will be tested randomly for 1yr.on your dime.Then it should be off your record in three yrs.but do the s.a.p.thing ASAP---good luck.Also your medical card is no good until you finish the s.a.p.

Like I said, show me under the "medical disease act"? where it says a company can not fire you for failing a drug test, or as you said, has to hire you back after you are shown clean.

 

i dont have to show you anything, i posted the info.. For the guy who got caught to help him out, the rest of you have this attitude because this guy got caught, so whats the big deal, guys get caught everyday, you people want to hang him, instead of giving him the rite advise, im sure if he wants to go back to work for the same company he will research my advise on what to do, if not he could go to work for someone else, there is nothing on his drivers license about a failed piss test and your medical card has nothing to do with drug test, it has to do with your health condition, so all of you out there stop telling lies, your nothing more then a bunch of wash women,
