Team driving Good or bad?!

    Okay so my boyfriend has been with Werner for 6 months and been riding the whole time, and I now I'm interested in getting my CDL and doing a team operation. Bottom line is how is the experience doing teams?!(no sarcasm or negativity about Werner please)

    Ok so you know Werner is one of the lowest paying companies there is.If you wanna team,you'll have to look at it as being with your boyfried,not the money side of it.My boyfriend and I was going to team but I changed my mine.Trucking is a very low paying job there is for solos and for teams its even more of an insulting wage.But if you and you man get along and dont mind not making a huge income especially with a company thats known for low miles then I say go for it.

    I hated team driving, you will have to be around someone most all the time and work around another persons schedule and quirks. If you are lucky it will work out, if not hide the body in a isolated area.

    So how does this answer my question?! Thanks for the advice but that wasn't the answer I was looking for... I wanna know how it is running teams?! An Werner don't pay that bad I know people who run teams and make pretty good money!

    With my boyfriend I have no doubt we would get along,hes just like me,habits and all.Never had one fight and weve been together a yr.But the pay side sucks.

    How does teams work because I know the truck never stops?! Is it comfortable sleeping while the truck is in motion?! An anybody who has done it or is doing it currently how do u like it?!

    Teaming is not for everyone, and as far as I know there is no real good way to tell if it's for you without trying it yourself, not trying to be a wise ###, but nobody here can tell you if it's for you or not, only you will know the answer to that AFTER YOU have tried it.
