Looking into getting XM Radio & notice the docking stations range from about $50-$150. Is this price difference mostly bells & whistles? Could I get by with say the Onyx & plug the 1/8" chord into the front of my radio & be good to go? Have also seen the Stratus 5&6 on ebay, are these all decent items?
    Thanks

using the 1/8" cord is the only way to go IMO. Digital quality sound and no trying to find a clear station(FM). The docking station is pretty much personal prefrance, how many toys you want/can afford, they all play the same channels.

Thanks...thats kind of what I thought. Yeah I remember all too well back in the day when I had a FM modulated CD changer & having to change the channel due to interference & that was local, I can only imagine how bad it would be driving all over like I do now.
    Thanks again:thumbleft:
