Rumor has it, Sanjel laid off 200 employees for break up. I think pretty much everybody has a freeze on right now till after break up.

 

It's going to be a long break up this year, the way it's going. It warms up and gets all sloppy, then the temp. drops and dumps another 10-15 cm of snow, and it starts all over.

I never said anything about not wanting people come to here to work. What I said is I'm tired of people coming here to work and not making it their home.

For people looking into getting started in oilfield trucking, and with the breakup just starting, would handing out resumes right before breakup ends be a good idea or right after?

 

Right before makes you low man on totem pole if they end up cutting back.

After breakup would be your best bet. Probably beginning to mid may would be best time to start passing out resumes

 

I wonder if this is the longest thread on this site, it's been steady for A YEAR AND A HALF! Jeepers......
