Team driving Good or bad?!

I highly recommend you getting your license! My wife and I drove team and did very, very well! If its at all possible then give it a go! Like the other poster said, maybe not with Werner, but there are many other great companies out there in which you can make very good money as a team!

 

Hands down, out of the 3.7 million miles I have driven, the 20,000 miles as a team driver was the worst ever. Can't imagine even trying to do it now with the 10 hour mandatory off duty or sleeper at once. But, if you can hack it like some of the other posts have indicated, with the right company you are golden. There will never be enough teams to satisfy this industry. Get the experience, then get into something time sensitive and you should do well.. Good luck.

 

Personally, I could only do team with a wife or girlfriend - i.e. someone I was very close with.
