i agree 100% with cpape, Maverick is the best on that list you have. You can adjust to the automatic truck, especially when you enjoy the company you work for and make good money and are home a lot.

I also thought TMC securement training was very good. Also if your not sure just look at what everybody else is doing. I would contact them again and see what they say. I work here and have been for 2 1/2 years and its been great. I'm on the specialized side now which is fun and I learned a ton!

I will contact them again and see what options I have or how I can persuade them to take a look at me. Thanks

You can drive Maverick trucks in Manual for the one billionth time.... And our trucks are faster than all of those companies too. Not that you really will want to drive that fast though. Our trucks are awesome and very comfortable with EPU/APU's. No idling. Good bonus program for mpg performance-which with these trucks is not too hard to do. Get home nearly every weekend. Good freight... COuld go on and on. Read Maverick threads Man. Type Maverick in the search box. I recommend HEADED FOR LITTLE ROCK! By JimTheHut, MY MAVERICK EXPERIENCE by Razororange, and ask any questions ya want on MAVERICK GENERAL BS THREAD. We will be glad to help ya out. Good luck whatever way you go.

Best bets are probably: McElroy, Boyd Bros, TMC, Melton, Roehl, and Maverick. You will get good flatbed training at these companies from all that I have heard, and I know firsthand at Maverick. And maybe look into Buddy Moore also.

    Pharaoh40220 and RevKev Thank this.
