Darn straight that is reasonable, I was paying $550 a month for my wife and I at Houg, that was unsustainable. I'll be in orientation in Tacoma on the the 15th. :)

I just went through orientation last week got a kw t680 it has a power inverter and fridge. The fridge stays cool, also if your at most of the yards you can plug into shore power. I don't know if i like this truck though its pretty heavy

Yea the 680 is a big truck. I have one of the small 2013 freightliners with 80 gallon tanks no fridge but I am only out 4 days then home for 4 and I never have an weight issues or turning radius problems in tight quarters. The 680 does look comfy though!

I drove for a year for Central Refrigerated out of the Fontana yard, then did 3 or so months pulling double bottom dumps for a local company in Yuba City, now I need to go back out...my in-laws neighbor drove for IDC for like 6 years and loved it, but hated Freightliners....do they have Petes by chance? Also do most trucks have fridges and inverters? And what does one year otr pay to start?

@palefacetse Interstate has freightliner and Kenworths both good trucks. The truck assigned is based on whats open at time of hire in your area ONE YEAR OTR pays .33 Call Erik and he can get you an app and rolling. Interstate is a good company. Most of the trucks have fridge and inverter and fast pass for the scales!

Yes Blue is right certain parts of the country pay more... Out West we get less as I figure the bean counters think since we have more open spaces to get miles we can make just as much as East coast and Midwest due to traffic delays ect.....
