Ah, that explains why I've never seen it. I have direct deposit. I had one dealing with Comdata and decided it cost way to much.

I've been sitting at the terminal in Lancaster, TX to do a 34hr reset. I could have gotten away with leaving early, but my load doesn't deliver until 0700 tomorrow and there was no where to Tcall it.

The terminal here is pretty nice compared to the rest I've seen. One guy was telling me he hated this one because is was horrible. I guess he's never been out west to those nice ones..lol They have a pretty nice lunch the put on here. I don't know if it's only on the weekend or all week. Some ladies bring in all kinds of good food and sell it by the togo box. Great stuff when you're used to eating soup. The showers and bathroom were pretty good as well. All in all my stay here has been pretty good. I would rather be rolling down the road, but there are a lot of other drivers sitting here as well.

My frustrations with Swift continue. I hooked to my trailer and started my pretrip. I found a flat tire on the trailer. Of course there was no one at the shop to fix it and I had to call onroad. Onroad had to call the guy from Swift who was on call. He told them he would be here in about 2 hours. It looks to me like I'm going to run out of my 14 at the dock. I sent in a Macro 22 and a msg to my DL letting him know. I got a msg back for me to just take my 10 at the dock...hmmm. I asked him to confirm they were ordering me take my reset at the dock. I got a msg back saying they weren't ordering it and if the customer wouldn't let me there was a process to go through so I could me. That's news to me since I've been through this once before and got an HOS violation in this exact same scenario. I'm thinking someone is going to get a screwing in this deal.

I finally got my tire fixed and I made my delivery. I'm now sitting in a Walmart parking lot hoping to get a load out of here. For some reason I don't see that Great Bend, KS is the freight mecca of the world. I may be here awhile.

I'm at the most lovely terminal in all of the US. Mira Loma, waiting on a B-service. Talked to the shop at 615 thismorning when they opened. Was 4th truck in line and I just got my truck pulled in at 1230. Got a load going home, supposed to pick up at 1400, don't think that's going to happen.

got here last night, around 2300 and there were about 300 too many trailers packed in. Blocking rows, blocking in loaded trailers, blocking in tractors. 'twas madness!

My father lives three miles away from there so I've been on more than one occasion. It's definitely worth it even if you are just passing by. Recently they started selling them in 7-11s around Denver as well. I would recommend the fresh rolls out of the shop itself though for a truly good first experience.

Never go to CA. Never go to Mira Loma. I have it on a sticky note on my dash.

I agree. Being out there doesn't make an expert.

Well at least I'm getting loads. I dropped a rush load off in Grandview, MO. It weighed a whopping 2300lbs. I guess they needed it badly. I have another load to pick up in Trenton, MO tomorrow morning. I was finally able to get a shower at the mom and pop TS I'm staying at. I'm not getting many miles, but I am moving.
