If you go bulk you can idle whenever. Get paid more too. I would not drive vans in this company though, I feel for them. The no idle thing is big time b.s.
The 20-70 degrees thing is a sensor that will not let the truck idle when the ambient temperature is in that range.

When You say 'bulk" You mean fully loaded trailer , single drop/pick-up, or You are talking about tanker. Understood about idle policy. Will contact SCH...der, plus few others that is on my list. Thank You. Jack.

Bulk means tanker. In my opinion Schneider is a great company, I am very happy. But again this is coming from a bulk guy.

Does NOT idle between 20-70, so THEY say. Seems there are bugs to this BS $ saving scheme.

Hey guys, got a question. I got a load assignment. I pick up my load then drive to schneider OC in Laredo, TX. It is marked "Bx" on my assignment and under "tasks" it says "Primary Booth". From there it has me drop as relay near by, also in Laredo. Can someone explain to me what "BX" and "primary booth" means. Thanks in advance!

BX....border crossing. You go to the Laredo SNI yard first, then to the expeditor.

Ahh, that makes sense. Can you tell me what "primary booth" means and what I need to do once I reach the OC?

When you go into the gate they will inspect the trailer and sign off on it and give you a release to take when you drop the trailer at the border crossing. Every trailer that comes in gets inspected, so just follow the line.

    HotH2o Thanks this.
