JBSTrucker, I hope the miles pick up for you. I've talked to a few drivers that are averaging about 1500-1800 miles a week and they are getting upset about it. My miles just started picking up about two weeks ago. Last week (and so far this week) I have had a load assignment before I get to my delivery.

Left out last night and drove to the Knoxville yard. I had a delivery close by this morning. Got that done and went to the yard to pick up a trailer that delivered in Clinton, TN. Got unloaded there and drove a half mile to another customer and got loaded. Sitting in Huber Heights, OH at the customer. Get unloaded first thing in the morning, and then it's off to Three Rivers MI to pick up a load headed to Bristol VA for a Wednesday morning delivery.

How have your miles been lately? This thread is about sharing the good and the bad. Speak up hombres.

Ive been pushed back a few more weeks. I lost that international to someone else and I was very happy cuz it was a POS. I go get another truck on the 15th. Ive going to run a month or so and see how the miles are. If they don't pick up I will be going after that regional job i've been wanting.

Hey guys well I justed finished orintation it was great everyone in cookeville that I met was great. I have to call my leader in the morning at hancock fabric and find my truck. But man it sure felt good to go to an orintation where they made you feel like you were part of the family and not just a number. The hotel and food was great. So far I have been very very impressed.

Congrats! Welcome to Averitt. I hope it works out well for you. I just hit 15 months this week and I still love it.

I've been all over the place this week. Got to see Michigan in a big truck for the first time. That was a pretty drive. Mostly stayed north this week but the miles have been great. By the time I get to Chattanooga mid morning tomorrow I will have 2639 miles for the week and I'll head out Monday morning early to finish off this load to the yard in Houston, TX and deliver early Tuesday morning. Last week I was around 2300 miles so I am glad to see they are picking up. Two weeks in a row I had my next load assignment before I got to the consignee of the load I was currently running. Clifford the big red truck turned over the 200,000 mile mark. Have a couple things I need to write up at the shop this weekend but nothing major. Still running like a champ.

Time to get some sleep. Shut down in Wytheville, VA and have a five hour drive to get home in the morning. Have a great weekend. Hope your miles were good.

Hey guys well I got my fuel card and my 2012 frieghtshaker today. I met the hancock fabric team and just like orintation they all were super nice I could'nt ask for anyone to treat me any better than averitt has so far. I went to the tupelo service center and cleaned up the truck and put my things in it and got it ready to head out on my first trip out and man its a great one 9 stops through texas and final in vegas. Im gonna try and start a thread to keep everyone up to date on my experince here at averitt because this thread of big mikes really helped me through my research time trying to find out info about averitt. So it would only be fair if I could start a thread so that maybe I can be a help to somebody like I was. You all have a great weekend and maybe I will see you guys out there.

Doing my reset in Dallas at my brothers this weekend. I'm not getting near the miles mike is getting. That will come in time. I ended up with around 1600. I've got a load to San Antonio Monday. I think, FM tried to contact me but we are so far in the sticks I can't get a cell signal. Hopefully the miles will pick up and I'll get away from the milk runs out here in the west.

I'm happy to see the brother!
