Coffey Thanks this. -
Coffey Thanks this.

I was driving hotshot, just got the class a without air brake
-
Did they try to sell you an elevator pass as well? This sounds like it is in the category of board stretchers and left handed screw drivers. If you got your Class A without ever driving with air brakes then you know you picked one sorry truck driving school. Talk to your school about it and see what they say or do about it and let us know and give us their name.

"air brake" is not an endorsement.
It is a restriction.COBB2070 Thanks this. -
Didn't know you could get a Class A Without air brakes.
-
Yes, you can, but it will have a restriction stating "no air brakes".

Go to your local DMV and get the Commercial Motor Vehicle book. Read the chapter on Air Brakes several times, then go back to your DMV and take the Air Brake test.
