I'm sure I wan't to start my whole trucking career with C.R. England, I've read everything people have said, but I figure I have to start somewhere.
Plus the whole think good and it will be good plays heavy with me.
I have two questions
1: two months ago I had a pilonidal cyst on my back, the doctor prescribed me Norco If I give the school that information"along with the paperwork" before I take the drug tests will they still send me home?
2:how long does someone have to have a drivers license before they will teach me, and if they don't need one, how do they get around that question on the Application?
School advice C.D.L. program pre requisites?

EW! I suggest you get rid of that pilonidal cyst and the pain medication that controls the pain. And, if you have driving experience, ask yourself truthfully if you are a safe driver. Then you may be ready for a truck driving career. Since you are 25 I presume you may have a few years of personal driving experience and that should be enough. Sitting for 11+ hours a day will make your cyst worse so get that cleared up ASAP. You may have to ask around to find a doctor to cut it out. Most #### doctors would rather push pain pills than solve the problem.
ElieazerDovBear Thanks this. -
Surgery IS an option. However, be aware that most doctors will want to see it recurs frequently before they'll suggest it. Also, sometimes surgery doesn't work. It took 2 rounds of surgery to get my cyst completely removed. This after suffering through recurring bouts for over 4 years. After MANY rounds of horse pill antibiotics, and pain killers.
After surgery, depending on the size of the cyst, you can expect 4 to 8 weeks of recovery, much of that with narcotic painkillers, depending on the location of the cyst.Last edited: Apr 9, 2013

I haven't taken a pill since the prescription ran out, I don't really like drugs legal,or illegal and the cyst popped and bled out so I'm cool. I have some driving experience and I have a permit, but I was hoping I could just skip all that and go straight for my C.D.L.

The riding around in a big truck, bouncing around, is liable to bring on more occurrences. Just a warning from someone who has been there.

From what I understand these cysts come from ingrown hairs, I think if I drive a truck and save up I can go ahead and get that spot zapped with a laser so no hair will grow there anymore.

Hey DragonTamerBrat whats your opinion about my license situation?
-
I have no idea. That may depend on the state requirements. But they can't run an MVR if you don't have a license, and won't let you stay if they can't find an MVR.

Okay what is an mvr?
