Street racing has been around, as long as cars have. It has never seemed to matter to the idiots who do it, that it is illegal and dangerous. It is sort of passed down from generation of idiots to generation of idiots.

you guys must have grown up mature from birth
i think of some of the crazy things we did and i shudder, but its a rite of passage for young folks to do stupid things
wheelies, endos, donuts, burnouts, etc are all part of growing up (silly yes, but a reality)
and the more challenge, the more the rush
i used to ride a kawasaki ninja, and ran from many a cop...... had i gotten caught, i would have had to pay my dues, but i didnt, and even when i knew guys got killed, arrested, bikes confiscated and the like, that didnt stop me
we have become a society where we depend on cops to answer every problem
i am not blaming the driver, but the rig did run into stopped traffic, what difference would it have been had there been an accident in front of him? stopped traffic is stopped traffic, regardless of why it is stopped -
its a LOT easier to catch a rig than a bike, most cops will not even begin to chase a bikeRed Hot Mess Thanks this.
