-
DOT - can you shed some more light on the statement that the OTR division is what it is another OTR trucking company. Please provide others reading this thead with your source of knowledge to back up this statement and what would qualify you to make this statement.

Ward Truckload Just started a Regional Plus Fleet - most regional within PA, MD and NJ but opportunities to stretch out the legs on longer runs - pay scale is set up to pay % on short haul, mileage bonus on medium LOH and mileage on long hall and still getting home over the weekends.

I have just recently applied to Ward for a regional driver and am going through the interview process. I live in the Wilkes Barre PA area and they have a terminal right there. I haven't had a chance to sit down and talk with Rich (recruiter) in person yet about everything that is offered but was wondering if anyone who drivers for them can tell me more about the company from a drivers perspective? Is it steady work everyday all year, how is the maintenance on the trucks, how much time do you spend waiting on loads or are they pretty good with keeping you rolling? They seem like a good company, low turnover rate and pretty busy here in the Northeast. I currently drive for a staging company driving flatbed.

Bump any info into pickup and delivery driver's for ward? About how many hours do they average a day?
