Nope.... I got myself suck on a residential roof one time while clearing off some broken tree branches. Hubby had to literally bring me back down. I don't do heights. :biggrin_25513:

I've been across that WVa bridge with my husband when he still drove; I'm here to tell you I was scared out of my mind!
I've had a bad fear of bridges ever since the I 35 bridge collapsed in Minneapolis. I had just crossed it hauling some horses the day before.
Yeah, I'm a coward. Will not - under any circumstances go across the Sunshine Bridge here in Fl!

    Oh, hell no.

The worst one I have to cross is in Bridge City, TX. Sweaty palms evey time, which makes it even worse. It's basically a huge arch, with rails that are like 18" high. You can't see the rails out the side window, so it feels like your kindof floating.

And of course, the local four wheelers fly by at 70 like its nothing.

Some of the roads in WV going up and down the mountains have this little WOODEN guardrails that are about 12-18" tall. I'm thinking, what the heck is that going to "guard" from going over the cliff, a pebble?! :biggrin_2556:

I have a fear of heights also and I see a panic attack waiting to happen for bridges like that.

That's something I've never done - white water rafting. I have a fear of being in water if I can't see the bottom (i.e. muddy, deep). Yes, I know, I'm a pansy for that, too. :biggrin_25526:

When I was about 9, we lived in Asheville, NC and used to go tubing down the French Broad River (REALLY muddy!). Well, we had those big tubes with covers over them and would lazily drift down the river. Well, we were going under a bridge and my tube bumped into one of those concrete pylons and it freaked me out! After that, never again!!

It's mine and hubby's. I don't drive. I'm basically his professional bungee cord holder when I get to go with him lol. He drives flatbed. This was taken just a few weeks ago before he put the headache rack on.
