Any one knows more information about the Schneider Family Dollar account in Ashley, IN. I know it's suppose to be a very phyiscal jobs with less miles. Do the stop pay, unload pay and load pay make up the difference. I heard a rumor of someone making 70k a year with being home on the weekends. Any insight from anyone THAT ACTUALLY WORK THE ACCOUNT will be helpful. I don't mine the workout from off loading I just want to be paid decent while doing it.

My friend is on the Werner one in Marianna, FL and he hates every second if it. He will typically drive 600 miles one day after leaving the DC to his first store. Gets in the night before and sleeps at store. Wakes up and starts unloading, spends that entire day unloading multiple stores. He gets stuck at his last stop 85% of the time meaning no shower. Next day he has to backhaul or straight to dc and do it again

70 is a little high. 60 is doable. I'm on a dedicated account that Family Dollar drivers beg to get on. It pays the same but it's less work. I know mid to lower 60s is where you'll max out at. At least down here in Texas. Up there it may be different though.

And I did a FD load a month ago cuz I wanted some extra cash. One load made $630. From Duncan OK to Laredo. I couldn't walk the next 2 days. It pays good, but you'll be a slave in that trailer.

Your money comes from the unloading. Miles will always suck

Family Dollar loads are floor loaded. You handle every case on that trailer, there can be around 3,000 cases on there. There are rollers to put the cases on that go into the store.I have 2 friends that pull trailers out of the Rome NY DC,they make decent money.

20.00 Stop pay
50.00 per trailer
.30 cpm avg 1500 to 1800 miles per week
It took him roughly an hour and a half to two hours per stop. Some of it depends on the store staff and this is with me lowering and raising the lift gate for him. Solo probably would have been 2 hours minimum per stop. Also DG has rolltainers and I believe FD you fingerprint every box.
The FD account pay (again this is USX):
20.00 per stop
75.00 per trailer
.37 cpm avg 1100-1200 miles per week.
based on my calculations after you get the hang of things you would gross 900+ a week.
I declined the job, because as stated above showers are important to me.HotRod64 Thanks this. -
