California’s Ban on Texting while Driving Extends to Navigation

Reason #423,653,687 NOT to go to CA......

 

Someone is getting paid too much to come up with this stuff.

 

Someone doesn't have enough to do with their time, so they sit around thinking this stuff up. . . I mean really now, don't it beat having to actually w o r k for a living?

 

Hopefully none of you- out of CA-drivers will ever come back..

They ALL have hands free laws. No one is taking away your GPS...you just can't HOLD YOUR PHONE even if using as a GPS.

Hey, guess what...Florida just affirmed the SAME ruling. STAY OUT OF FLORIDA.

FYI, PA does not have a hands free law. We do have a no-texting law, but handheld phones are still legal.

 

the hands free law is a govt standard. ALL 50 states have it.

it's really no different now then when it was first imposed. the gvt made the law. and the states have to enforce it. all they are doing is just expanding on the rule. and you get a BIG fine. and no unemployment wages. for breaking that law.

gps should be a no brainer along with all the other things you can"t
use on your phone while in your hand. unless your parked.

 

Only in commercial motor vehicles, not in cars. The Feds don't have jurisdiction over non-commercial vehicles.
