    well, have met with success with the Browning branded one I bought off of amazon( low $30's very very fast delivery). currently on the drivers mirror bracket. Concerned with so much in and out (dedicated multistop runs) that the solid wire might not last as long. Looking to get it switched over to the pass mirror bracket. No matter how the truck is oriented in relation to the XM sats , I haven't had a signal loss issue.

    That project will happen tomorrow after I get back for the day

    Under your bunk there are cables running outside. Mount the antenna to the rear of the sleeper, and get enough lead to put the radio where you want. Mine is on the headache rack. Simple enough.
