My name is Doug and I drove for several companies for six years: WesWay Express, Swift, Averitt, Heartland. The last year of driving was in 2005 and I bought a truck and leased on with Heartland then CornHusker. In 2005 my heart gave out and forced me out of the trucking industry. Now my son who is in the Army. He gets out in six months and will be going to trucking school, then he wants to drive! He at least has an idea of life of an OTR driver since he came with me every chance he could get.
Glad to be here and I miss trucking so much! But I do get to ride with my son, YEA!
