I have done this with amazing results. posted somewhere years ago.

 

rich to me is the blessings from creating my children in the likeness of myself & my wife & watching them grow, knowing I can help shape their future. I stop using the word happy, cause. it is defined by what is happening. if things are going well, I am happy. if things are not going well I am unhappy. it is a roller coaster ride. I use joyful instead, read about this in the good book. I know it's just semantics, words, but word's & thoughts can start change ones life.

 

Being "RICH" isn't a dollar amount or bottm line. It's defined different by each individual, some have financial goals sum have peace of mind and some just want peace and to be happy. It doesn't make anyones answer right or wrong its just different for everyone. One mans happiness can be the next mans misery. If you're happy who cares what the next person thinks. The only point I was making is that for the financial goals I have set for myself and the timeline i have set to reach them I need alternate sources of income so I can park my truck for good and hopefully enjoy early retirement..

 

Most the time from the ones that have failed or are failing to make drivers wages.

 

Please research fuel gauges.com, you may find very usefull info on buying a truck and getting started in the trucking industry. A mistake can cost you years to fix. Do the math and know your numbers! For m e being rich is not being held down by a job so you can be free to pursue your own interests. For example I would rather make $500 a week and be a free man than earn $1,000 and being a slave to the clock. It's strange and unfair the way our world is set up. We save our free time for when we are 67 years old plus.(Retirement) By then you're too old to really do the things you wanted to when you were younger but couldn't because you had to work.
