ya that's what I was going to do only split the top 2 but I found out some more things about this truck that I don't care for so um idk about buying it. like the fact it has 940,000 miles on it I mean its clean but looks are only good to look at. now it has a c15 cat 2004 motor so I don't think it has all that acert stuff on it. and found out all kinds of other things did a truck report on it found where its been at and yes it was a werner truck it seems also this truck also got a lot of tickets for speeding lol. just worried if I take this truck I will be stuck with it for a year and scared it will blow a rod or suck some valves what you guys think say the hell with it and look for a mack![]()

so it was a werner truck. Mine was a Pride Transport.
what does the ECM report show for a maximum speed? THAT might mean that it was seriously over revved.
So it had a lot of speeding tickets. Means the nut behind the steering wheel had no discipline.
Any used engine will have the chance to blow a rod or suck a valve. Even at 500K miles. -
Well the guy I'm getting it from we have talked its a lease from a dealer not a company and he had it checked ecm is clean no real hot dogging the motor was taken care of and he told me if it blows the motor or need a inframe or out of frame he will pay for it up front and charge it to me in payments with 0% interest. Ya I know it can be a risk no matter the age but wont the oods be more against me? don't get me wrong something keeps telling me to take it. but the boy who went threw auto/disl keeps say no wait. but I will have about 8k on hand when I go in to this that's why I am leasing it just in case things go south. I all rdy have a company picked out so its just a matter of me holding back. I mean the truck is CLEAN great shape easy on the eyes even with that light blue.

Try to think about 5 years in the future when you will look back and laugh about this.

Good luck with whatever you decide.Truckenbuzz123 Thanks this. -
hope that's not a bad sign lol

at least you were able to put hands ON IT before you bought it.
I live in MN and bought mine out of Richfield WA. I committed to it sight unseen until I walked up to it having completed a one-way flight from Minneapolis to Portland OR. Trailer was 140 miles north in Orting WA. Bought that from the WRONG dealer thinking it was only 20 miles from the truck.
ETA:
Get them to swap it to the 13 spd as part of the deal. -
I meant it as encouragement.
Seems like most of the time when you have to make a big decision later on you realize it wasn't as bad as you thought it was at the time. -
oh wow that would suck some hairy ones. The truck is in indy, IN and the company i'm going to contract with is out of indy also so only thing I will have to worry about is getting up to indy from where i'm at. the company i'm going to also said they with go threw the truck for me on top what I have all ready done before I put anything down on paper.

Ya I agree with you on that but mainly worried I wont be able to take care of my wife and two kids she's has all ready gave me the ok and on a lighter note I will still be home every weekend!
