    It's older than that.
    back in the late 90's freightliner had an argosy COE and 3 axle 58' Wabash on 19.5 tires concept truck touring the country.
    They were trying to get a 90,000 lbs gvw and a longer trailer passed the state legislators.
    Every state turned them down flat.
    Shortly after that Jim Hebe was replaced as CEO.

    Trailers keep getting bigger. 42' then 45's then 48's now 53's. Some western states have 57's? The trailers keep getting bigger and we pull them for less money. Am i missing something here???
