Thanks Panhandle, I did two L/O in my lifetime, walked away with one truck and on the other I just walked away. however I did make out well on both. Im looking to make 3 times a charm. right now Im just in the info gathering phase on who will give a 80/20 shot of course the 20% chance is my odds and thats just because I have some exp. Im gonna keep at the info/homework gathering until I have a fair choice in mind. Im thinking Jul or Aug I should have enough info on who is half fair once a month! lol I also got some good info from a long time hand on a company called RTI. Im gonna see how that shakes out.

You'd have to train I imagine. What are the requirements to become a trainer at Trans Am?

What is going on lately? EVERY run now seems to have an extra, unwanted 24 hours built in to delivery time. I had 49 hours to drive 420miles to make my last delivery, now I have to wait 30+ hours to make my next pick up. :biggrin_2556:

If a person goes to truck driving school, gets on with Trans Am, stays with them, is it possible for that individual to stay on as a company driver, regardless of how long that time of employment with Trans Am might be?

Also, does anyone foresee Trans Am changing back to manual transmissions? I believe, if I found out correctly, that Trans Am only uses automatic transmissions.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

Trans Am makes no secret about being committed to having drivers lease. If you are looking for a company to be at long term as a company driver Trans Am may not be the best choice. Won't know for sure until you try it though I guess.

There ate people at TransAm who have been company drivers for years, despite TransAm being a primarily lease fleet. I dont forsee them going back to manual transmissions anytime soon though.
