I grew up on a dairy farm. Got Class A license. Helped drive a tri-axle dump truck hauling grain from the field into the mills, elevators, and co-ops in Cumberland Valley. Also hauled commodities locally a little. All within a 100 mile radius of home. Worked part time helping to build grain bins, then bought out the fellow that had the grain equipment dealership. Now need CDL's to run a p/u and trailer. So not really a trucker, but do deal with trucking on a fairly regular basis. Also like to broaden my knowledge. I heard recently that jobs don't have futures, only people do.
Just found this site yesterday and found it very interesting.
I participate in an agricultural forum, so forums are not new to me. This one is laid out different so still finding my way around.
