I haven't driven a ProStar newer than the 07 model, but I'm more interested in your antenna set up. (Had a 2510 with some nice mods done to it and sold it. Regretted that sale ever since!.......And I ran it as base with a Maco 750 behind it and a Echo Max mic! Never heard anybody I couldn't get back to!!! Only had a ground plane antenna too, Astro-Plane at about 30ft.)

Gotcha. My antenna setup is a predator 10 k that's grounded with copper wire
