How about passing on the truth and leave the rumors where they belong?
I dont have a problem you passing on information that is true but why pass on bad information?
If that was true then they would have lost thier rating and also their ablity to hold their own insurance.
I have seen many drivers BLAME England for alot of things and never accept any responsiblity of their own actions. They want to be home 3 days a week but run 3000 miles in 5 days as a solo.............Cant be done.
They want to stop off at home even though its 200 miles out of route so they can sleep in their own bed every night. Then beach about not getting miles...... Take a day off then expect frieght to be waiting on them to pick up whenever they decide to get out of bed. They are told to go to the pick up and wait on the load assisnment (which they would get if they were sitting there) but refuse cuz they want to watch the football game at the flying J.
I can tell you many more and that is just form the past 6 months of talking with some of the drivers on this account. They all winnnnne they are not getting miles and say David is ...yeah David drops his load and heads right back to the pick up. He has sat for a day a half do to a breakdown at the farm but was loaded cuz one driver went home to sleep in his own bed. Things have slowed down at this farm( due to breakdowns) so what does he do.....goes back OTR even though he could have another driver moved due to his record of on time and being he is Senior driver. Yes I sit here in a town all alone but he is making money and getting good miles. I know in 2 months he will be back and I will see him every 2 days. Its the price you pay for working with an OTR company.
When he and I have had enough there is Ruan and he can be home weekends and most nights. OHHH and in a year and half the truck will be PAID and it will be his to do as he sees fit.
If you want home at night and weekends get a local job, but if you dont keep a positive attitude you wont be happy there either.
And NO I am not a mormon I am a southern Baptist.

I pass on everything I hear and let the person decide. I can just say he thats what they did, but I am Marine and dont't need to lie. Its called scuttlebutt. They lied about me. I had to fight it for that I have proof and they cost me a job!!!
They are not a good company from my point of view. I ran hard and worked hard for them. I even picked up an abadoned truck for them.
I have worked for OTR, It is the only thing I know anymore. I know how to run and companies that have given me the miles I have done it. I dont complain. I know what it is like to be OTR. I am rarely ever home. But that is what I signed up for.
Be fore you attack another driver, please take time and reliaze that it is my point of view. People pass on rumors all the time. It may or may not be true. I leave it to them to investigate. I will remove the comment as you seem offended by it.
I feel that they are not as solid a company as they make themselves out to be.
I am not one to bash other companies but England has caused me problems. Falsifying my DAC for one. I had to fight that and finally got a letter from England saying opps, our bad.
You may have a different point of view about the company. I respect that. But please dont make comments like you are slapping my hand. I am a grown up. You just say that I don't beleive that is correct and the rumour would be squashed. -
Hello! still smiling here at CR England

I started out with 25 in the class.... by day 3 there were 18 left 17 of us have passed the driving test to get the CDL YEAH!!!! One woman who had lots of trouble backing was given a PERSONAL TRAINER and she is now going great just one group behind us.
I have no idea what goes on elsewhere but here in UTAH the staff and my classmates have been the best! I have learned so much....
Monday I will graduate and then I am going out with a trainer...
I am praying for a good one!
As the saying goes talk can be cheap
some don't think I should even have my own opinion until I have 3 months experience.
I do appreciate those of you who have shared your real experiences.
I am willing to work hard and I'll get home when I get there. I took this job to travel and see the country. I am up for this adventure.
Thanks to all of you who are encouraging my success story to continue successfully.
From where I am I say if you want a chance and are willing to learn give CR England a chance. Worse that will happen to me is I now have the CDL A!!!
Thanks again for the best wishes!
Maybe I'll see you out there on the road.
Blessings!

3 days to get your cdl??

Am I reading that right? thats scarry -
I have not checked my DAC report yet to see if there is anything "funny" on there. Do you know the best place to check this? I know that you have had experience with this, Marinegreen, maybe you could steer me in the right direction.
-
USIS. They are the ones that control DAC. It is 10 dollars unless you were fired or not hired becasue of something on your DAC then it is free. I get my DAC once a year just to check. The stuff never comes off unless it was a mistake.
To find USIS just type that into Google. -
You'll have to do that for a lot of things at C. Our. England Ad.
If I have to pray to get something as critical as a good trainer at an outfit, I'll go elsewhere. -
A little clarification....
On day 3 we had 18 of our 25 begining class mates left....... all 17 of those left finished our class and passed the CDL it actually took many days driving somedays from early morning and practicing until late.... the one woman is now in the class behind us and doing well. They gave her a personal trainer for two days to help her. We started with 9 women. Eight of us women will Graduate on Monday along with 5 of the men. 2 men did not need to graduate they were in refresher training and went out to work already.
The men who did not make it all had issues with the drug test.
What I want to communicate is I feel the trainers here at CR England in Utah did a great job with helping our class to get-er-done. Our class was also very supportive to one another with study groups, cheerleading, and such!
I strongly recommend CR England in Utah for any woman who sincerely wants to do this. I was also impressed by the company training on day one regarding sexual harrassment. I felt safe here.
I am a Christian and I pray about everything! I want my trainer to be a "good" one in more ways then just driving the truck. They are short on women trainers and so I will be going with a strange male. We all know some people can be stranger than others
I feel my training was more than adaquate and I am ready for the next 3 weeks and I am still praying I will get a good trainer.
MANY Thanks and much gratitude to all who have encouraged me.
and to those who's posts saved me (and my friend the other grandma Debe who stayed home with the grand kids) from Stevens.
Wave when I go by.... Still smiling... finally get a day off!
Blessings

Scared! Scary! or not Grandma Debi is enroute as a trainee student in the Big Truck with her (hopefully God sent) trainer Pedro...
(a man as young as her oldest son and not quite as good looking) Pedro is realitive new as trainers go....... what that means was not clarified! Pedro said he is driving tonight so Grandma is to rest!
This Big Truck is now headed on a designated run to SC and perhaps will return by way of ohio.
Just following graduation Grandma was summoned by management who advised "dear" grandma would be the first to go TONIGHT!!!
Barely time to wash clothes and bedding and pack...
(what happened to the placement/advisement meeting on Tuesday????
SO LONG FARWELL.......PIP PIP CHEERIO I'LL NOT be home soon!!!!
(best estimate 30 days with PEDRO! oh yes and by the way the second seat CAT routine follows that)
Didn't I read that somewhere else?
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GRANDMA DEBI
