It's new & it slips?
-
The ones I have fitted slipped to start with, take for a few short drives and bed it in, let it cool down between test drives, then heat her up again , they come right,

Was the flywheel turned with a rock or lathe? When my local Carquest closed their machine shop (rock style) the only other in town used a lathe to turn mine. They seemed to not slip as much at first turning them on a lathe....maybe its just my imagination.

I don't know the marks in the flywheel were circular
-
That's been surfaced with a stone. Like I said, those seem to slip a little longer in my opinion.

Am also in the market for a new clutch, I was looking Lipe clutches, are they any different then the OEM clutches. Only why am asking my mechanic never heard of them.
Some mechanic's only know what they know.
My question is, are Lips clutches better or at the same level as the OEM's?
did get a good quote on a Lipe clutch. -
I didn't know you had to burnish a new Lipe. I prefer Mid America clutch myself.
I heard of burnishing in new brakes but not clutches.
