Maybe file for umemployment? Not getting paid is a good reason for quiting a job or should I call it slavery. You could also file a small claims suit although I am not sure who you could legally go after. The O/O or Roadstar? What a crappy deal. Honestly though you should have quit after the first week of getting stiffed.

 

Im glad somebody kicked his but.I don't know the guy,but i heard stories about his games.Most of the companies in chicagoland are crapy,but there are good ones,or decent at least.I work for my company more than 3 years,was company driver for 2 years then O/O.It's small,10 trucks family owned company,never had any issue,one driver drives for them for 7 years,still happy,so it's not easy to find but there are still good companies in Chicago.Good luck,hope you will manage to get your money.

 

If I didnt get paid by midnight on pay day, the only way the truck I'm sitting in, is moving will be by a tow truck..I will walk out in a heartbeat,,if they fail to pay once they will fail a thousand times..

 

I can almost guarantee this guy was being paid on a 1099...he is screwed no unemployment!!!!
