    I was using netscape 7.0 till they changed the layout on 8.0 so much i couldn't figure out how to use it. then a friend suggested firefox and never went back. Never liked explorer. when i got my vista recently the first thing i installed was the firefox browser then avast anti virus.

    I think, after the years of Microsoft being attacked, that it's pretty much common sense, run from any Microsoft product that you can. Because it will be vulnerable. Hackers and virus writers don't attack other software, because its not an "Empire" like Microsoft. They love to hate Microsoft. :biggrin_2559:

    If it really was common sense then microsoft would find away to protect the users of ie. all school computers running windows has one internet program, ie!
