Erratic exhaust temps along with mpg?

    No haven't changed exhaust probe yet because of my thought of why engine would run diff when it would act up. Sluggish slow to build power.

    having same problem with my isx, i will first change the sensor ( exhaust temp )

    Does sound like the pyrometer probe in the exhaust gone bad or bad connection.

    Wil change probe going too see if can get on dyno because changing probe still won't fix lost mpg and all I did was new fuel filters air filters and put in new injector harness over the weekend and lost mpg went from 5.3 to 4.4 which ain't that good to worse.

    When you had the "Egr removed" did they change the turbo, or did they leave the stock one? if they left the stock turbo did they disable it in the ecm or does it still act as a variable turbo? Who did your egr removal?

    Had a similiar issue such as this recently along with spiking egt's......turned out to be a bad turbo, fins broken in the pressure side and foreign debris damage to the exhaust wheel.
