Is there a difference? Driving Freightliner or International

    Heres how it was put to me when I posed a similar question....You got a CDL to drive a truck, not a kenworth, not a pete, not a western star, but a truck. Just familiarize yourself with the dash layout, your shift pattern and rpm ranges and be sure to find out if you have a top load brake pedal or not, LMAO I almost crashed a T660 during backing because I didn't know it was a top load pedal.     As far as shift pattern, friction points, and just overall shifting, since the shifter has that weird bend in it, will it be hard to adjust?

    Ten speed as a straight 10, no it won't matter that much; the 9, 13 and 18 have a wider gate, so if you were used to them, it would be different but same transmission with a different stick won't bother you all that much.

    I started with 9s and then 10s, and have been driving a 10 speed again for a few years since the Eaton Ultra, it isn't that hard to adjust.
