they got rid of the wellness test. you no longer carry weights. just a chat with the doc. we lost 7, down to 13 total. one had car issues an hour away, second was a guy who said he was offended by the trainer, however, we have determined that he couldnt read english cause he asked if the books were available in spanish. he left same day. 3rd guy failed drug test, 4th guy had multiple sorosis (SP), 5th guy had a DUI back in the day and was reinstated his license, but they wanted to see his proof at the dmv and he didnt have anything other than his license, 6th guy failed permit test. 7th left cause he was too nervous and didnt take the permit test.
i have decided that i am going to go lease op as soon as possible because its what benefits me. now, a lot of talk online says to stay away from leases. with central it is different. i have talked to many lease ops since i have been here, and for me it is the right path. bear in mind what works for me doesnt work for you. i dont need home time, but once a month for drill. i dont have kids to see, or a wife to miss. i enjoy being by myself aside from the ##### that i have at the time. and i know several girls in the states ive lived. so im quite happy living in my truck and not needing to be home.
this mentality will net me the most income compared to a company driver. the people who say they dont make any money at central as a leaso op, are typically the people who spend the money they make on their truck making it look all chromed out or they take lots of home time, or they refuse loads. as a company driver, loads are forced dispatched, but as a lease op, you are an independant contractor. you can refuse any load but common sense says its not a good idea.
me personally, im not going to refuse anything. i got into this becuase i love doing things like im going to be doing. its a challenge for myself. If anyone has any questions about joining central, text or call me off my signature and I will tell you everything I know. Please keep in mind, I spent 7 years active army and I do this on the army side as well, I am willing to tell you how I plan to run my fuel and time management in order to be the most efficient that I can.

arata954 - Let me know how it goes. I'm soon to be looking for a company to drive for and the leasing is something I'd love to have more details on. I hear nothing but bad things (I'm sure there's a good reason for that) but I'd like to hear something good about it for a change. Where in the Army were you stationed? I went to basic at Ft. Sill, OK but was medically discharged back in early '08.

send me a text and when i get lunch ill call you about the lease. central DOES NOT do a lease to own. they DO NOT own any of there trucks. every 3 years they turn them back in for new ones. their oldest truck is a 2010. you dont even have an option to purchase at the end of the lease. they are very upfront and honest about the lease program. even outright saying that it may not be for you if you want lots of home time.

can you send me a text? cell phone data sucks at the terminal for me. text is easier.

when you text me, please text me your name as well as your screen name. and not being gay, but send a face pic. i remember faces more than names. i have a ###### memory when it comes to that.
