    A dude from TransAm came to my school and I really liked it, but I ask asked the guy if they do regional routes he said no.. Just kinda scary at 1st when your new cause this will be a big jump into life.

    I think that might of been a rep. from Transport America out of West Liberty, IA . Some people also call them TransAm. Transport America sends "dudes" out to schools, TransAm out of Olathe, Ks does not.

    Does Trans Am really spend anything on recruiting? How do they find new drivers? I know the t/o rate there isn't low. I have never seen them post an ad on craigslist either. Interesting approach.

    I drive for Transam and go to schools to recruit
    transport america is not associated with trans am
    nor does anyone think they are

    and advertises on sirius sports radio
    and trucking sites on the internet

    every school i have recruited at has flyers brochures posters
    that transam hires students

    Any current drivers care to shre info on how the scales have been treating TransAm, I looked at there CSA today and the unsafe driving threshold was 85.4 the limit is 65.0 before DOT intervention (Scale Checks) The overall score was also high and placed in the Focused Investigation group. I wanted to know how this is effecting you current drivers?
