I was down there yesterday. In person those drivers weren't complaining like some of the things I've seen on this forum. It's a start. If this small company in Charlotte, NC doesn't work out for me I may end up at CC. Off topic but I thought my gps got me lost when I was driving on those dirt roads. I was like there is no way a trucking company is out here......then I started seeing trailers lol.

thanks amiller, yeah it's kind of out there. I've been reading these post for 2 years now and never seen so much cutthroat behaviour in my life, seems to me a guy could get some type of support from fellow americans ( not trying to insult anybody, but know it will), even a good luck would be helpful, wonder what will be said when mexico and muslims start driving big rigs??/

I grew up around this industry. My father and grandfathers on both parents' side of the family were truckers. This industry is NASTY and has been since I can remember. Keep to yourself and you'll be fine. Oh and don't take anything that happens to you or that is said to heart. Where are you located?

CC is a second chance carrier. If you do not need a second chance , you can do better. If you need that second chance , use them to get your exp and your record better. There is a place for them . When you can get a better position .

sdaniel is absolutely right about cc being a "second chance" company. Do you have issues on your background or MVR?

yeah made a mistake back in 03, been construction worker for last 20 years decided to try and get into trucking always wanted to, got my cdl's and have put in apps and talked with recruiters from a - z , CC only one seems to at lest give me a chance to get some experience and some miles under my belt , not asking for much, just trying to keep roof over my family head and food on table, not scared of work, be glad to get it. thanks
