Good point Union Man ... also add to that, NYPD DOT also loves to catch you on the Manhattan side of the 3rd Ave Bridge on the S turn south to 2nd Ave. This would be just after you jump off the Major Deegan and are no longer protected by Interstate Highway rules for big trucks.

Hear ya there. I hauled big iron all over the tri-State area before jumping to car haul. One time NYPD DOT pulled right behind me ( I was parked ) while I still had my NYPD Traffic escorts with me !!!!!

I used to drive the orange pumpkin into the city all the time back in 03-05. I used to also cut through Manhattan from the Bronx by Yankee stadium to get across the GWB when the Cross Bronx was backed up to the Bruckner Interchange. Loved driving through Spanish Harlem! Such good food there too!
Speedloader Thanks this. -
