All i no is this..Many CDL Drivers are going to get ''pinched'' on this one if they are not on the ball.I went down to renew my CDL and HAZ MAT and the lady said i have to come back with 100 forms of ID,my Long Form DOT Physical,My DOT Diapers and Bib,and my very own flip flops..So i went home got all this together and still was missing some more ''stuff''...
.So now i have all of it together and i will be going down this week to ''renew'' and PAY BIG MONEY for this...
And they say we don't PAY UNION DUES....We PAY BIG to a different corrupt union. We all PAY to work...

I tried calling the CMV hotline for this in California and of course I got a busy signal. I really do not want to waste a half of a day waiting in line at the DMV just to be told I am in the wrong line and need to fill out a different form.

Just like i had too...I went back 3 times..
...If Government has anything to do with it,it will be ###### up..
Dewey120 Thanks this. -
Actually, we make a lot more than most airline pilots today. What used to be a great paying job as a pilot turned into a race to the bottom. During my first year as an o/o, I checked into Comair, Delta's training school. It was $50,000, then a year at $12/hr or so as a flight instructor, and then a whopping $35,000 a year to fly jets in 2001. My rookie year, 2000, at covenant, I made $40,000. The exclusive club that fly the Boeings and Airbus' make good cash, but then so do the guys in the niche's driving truck.Travelinman and landstar8891 Thank this.

Does Landstar have a limit on the amount of fuel I can purchase per day.
-
The only limit that I'm aware of is the amount of available funds on your comcard. No money, no fuel.
-
Thanks, so I have to use my money thats loaded onto the card for fuel? Another company I worked for would only put a certain amount on the card per load, which was never enough. Always ran wondering whether or not I would run out of diesel before my next load. Left no wiggle room, no extra in case I had to deadhead a few miles. Dont want to put myself in that position again.
