I have a '97 Isuzu FTR 18' box truck, dock high with liftgate. I've used this truck in a coin operated soda, snack vending business for the last 12 years. It's main use is picking up and delivering soda and snack machines. I don't have the need to move machines that often so this truck does'nt get much use.I'm hoping you guys could give me some ideas on how I could use this truck to generate other sources of revenue. I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and the trucks GVWR is 25900 lbs. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hauling illegal's back to Mexico?
One_tooth_wonder, Marksteven, Tennesseahawk and 1 other person Thank this. -
Google "expediters", this sounds like the ideal work for expediting.

That truck is totally unsuited for expedite work - no sleeper , underpowered .

LOL In this area, that would keep someone busy for years

Check with local courier companies and see if they hire O/O trucks.

I would check with print shops, silk screen shops, rtv dealers, etc. and let them know you are available. From time to time they get stacked up with work and need the extra help. Office supply companies too. Build a network. They might have their own trucks, but they break down, or sometimes have more than they can handle in a day. With an area like DFW you can keep that truck going full time if you let people know about your services.

havent you heard.?...you are sup. to "think outside the box"

Try the local "big box" hardware stores, some hire O/O's to deliver building supplies, cabinets etc for their commercial accounts. I do know in St. Louis where I live that's a good truck to make some money working for some of the courier companies. Not all flowers, white mice and envelopes. A lot of stuff with mail and package returns out of post offices.
