I agree much of what we are required to put on logs isn't necessary but they have been required for years .
E-logs eliminate wasted time . You do not have to draw lines or enter locations or mileage . You don't have to total times in each duty status or run a daily recap .

Once the e-log has noted that you are in violation and keeps quiet, do you then need to do anything in terms of reporting to the company regarding the violation? What about if you have an inspection?
