Yeah I agree with bigjoel leave the dog wife and kids at home its kinda like joining the army at some point you may be called upon to go into battle or war so you have to take the good with the bad and except the facts of life in the truckers profession if you have to pay for parking big deal you can claim that expense on your tax the same with toll charges keep all your receipts and at the end of December you can claim all those expenses back you know what they say "if you can't handle the heat in the kitchen get out!"

also srt repayed me for parking.
-
Mine does.
-
Yep you are correcto mundo maám LW Miller were excellent at reimbursements as long as you kept the receipt they would pay up, however if a company don't repay you still have the option of claiming it as a tax deduction all together its a win win situation.
-
Melton truck lines pays for parking, and reimburses for any legitimate truck expense. Theyre not a perfect company, because they wont reimburse me for food, but they will reimburse me if I need a shower, or a lumper, or dunnage.
-
They pay you to shower. cool sign me up.my wife and I try and shower every other day. During the summer it's like every day.
I can make some good money, just keeping myself clean.. Like a person should any waylonewolf262 Thanks this. -
Welcome to SRT! home of the revolving door, twenty guys and dolls jumping on and off the merry-go round weekly....
Maybe you should drop the hazmat and the extra 5 cents they pay per mile...... or leave sparky at home with the kids. -
so its like that wait till you take a trk to a drop yrd to quit and they put abonded vehicle on your dac,and that is when even a guard signs you off and says ok your cleared
-
When I quit last year I did not get abonded put on my Dac or work history report. I gave them 2 weeks notice and got out on the road ran my loads back to the yard packed my stuff turned in my paperwork truck papers and keys to dispatch and got my ride to grey hound....heck if they took older trucks on I would lease on to them
-
they have no age limit any more .....but i just turned in my stuff had them remove my qc etc .....they worked me up until the day i wanted to go and tried to talk me out of going plus said they will still take my 13yr old truck with 1.5 million miles back any day .....
but i really want to try this percentage contract with my own trailer (no more drop trailer all jacked up by others) and home every weekend ....they even tried to come up with a lane that would get me home more frequently ....
