TransAm Trucking, Inc. - Olathe, Ks.?

I had a friend who drove for trans Am who hated every minute of it. Yeah you get the miles but like every other job his dispatcher was a douche. They for resets on you while ur 6states away from home 2days before ur weekend at home and hated to pay for ur hotel expenses. Maybe hes just a brat; but im tellig what i know. Their probation period is ridicilous. If u leave within 90days, u have to pay for the hotel that they paid for.

Do they force you to lease a truck?or no miles?

 

You have an option to lease or be a company driver. He chose company driver. Which one r u interested in?

 

company driver and how much was pay per mile ?

 

.31 cents. Good luck, they will give u miles but thats pay is rape if u ask me

 

Explain why

 

I have a choice of TransAm or Carolina cargo

 

Being paid .31 isn't great when they take out .4cents for watever reason. Subtract 31-4 and times that 550miles u drive per a day. Do u like that number?

 

I managed to snag an empty at Walmart then they tried to send me on a three stop load t PA and Boston. Nope, I'll finish the reset. They are overlooking the part where my satellite actually gets fixed. And I get a run thru FL because I need to get my debit card from the house. Miles wont be great this week, but its because Im refusing loads. So no real complaint except the turds need to get me to a terminal.
