I just did that less than a week ago. My arm bruised far worse for that than it ever has when a much larger needle was used for donating blood. I do that somewhat regularly.

I don't know about there, but here the only time your blood can be forcibly drawn is if you are intoxicted and have killed or severely injured someone in an accident. If you refuse the Breathalizer test, they can force you to have blood drawn at the hospital with Police holding you down if need be. You can't be forced to take any test if it's simply a DWI or check point. However, if the officer can state that you had alcohol on your breath and were driving badly, the judge has to make his decision based strictly on the evidence presented and the officers testimony in this case always carries the extra weight. Because you can only say I wasn't drinking and didn't have a test result to prove it. these days Patrol cameras are basically stopping any real chance of being found not guilty if you refuse the breath test. Additionally, driving is a privaledge, not a right. The state says you WILL submit to a test. When you sign for your drivers license, you sign an agreement to take such a test. If you refuse to take it, even on a simple DWI stop, the STATE revokes and suspends your license for one year, regardless of if you were found guilty or not.

According to recent "mainstream" news reports, blood testing is now mandatory - with or without consent - whenever one is suspected of being intoxicated (so far only in certain states). This way, it can be proven if a driver has substances other than, or in addition to, alcohol in his/her system. It's my understanding that the person is first arrested on suspicion, and is then transported to, I presume, an ER, where the blood is taken by qualified "professionals". As the old saying goes, "if you're not doing anything wrong, you have nothing to fear".

transporting anyone to those #### prison camps they have out in the sticks. They have prison camps already built and waiting..... for something. Martial law, police state, guilty until proven innocent, population control, free labor, illegals, legals, .... truck drivers. very bizarre. and now california wants to control the thermostats in people's own homes !!! it's in the news..true story just came out. we're being slowly, steadily suppressed like a bunch of sheeple.

The problem is, we are letting the continuos criminal walk through a revolving door, and lawyers are using every loop hole they can to get the bad guys out of everything they get into.. A guy was arrested here the other night for his 17th DWI. WFT? The average Joe would be in jail a very long time on his 3rd one, but this guy and his lawyer keep slipping through the cracks and manipulating the system. But it's not just happening with DWI's. It's happening with ALL crimes. Then the Police get more aggressive, the politicians pass more stupid, worthless laws that only drag down the system, they stand infront of cameras telling us everything they've done to protect us, and the media, makes heros out of Thugs. Something has to change or we will all be walking through the 1970's Soviet Union, right here, but still calling ourselves a FREE Country. The problem is, there are no consequences for crime or irresponsibility anymore. Then Government has the audacity to force their way into our own homes to tell us what we need to do for our own good.
