07 International 9400 ISX/435 Cummins HELP

    Check engine light and low oil pressure light keep coming on, then truck shuts off. Took to mechanic and he said it was the sensor. Changed it and problem continues. another mech said it could be the valves from the hose to the oil pan that are clogged? Anyone have any idea?

    You'll need to connect a mechanical pressure gauge to see of the engine is actually producing low oil pressure or not. This will determine your next diagnostic direction.

    What oil filter are you using seen a lot of isx coming in for.low oil pressure with fleetgaurd filters,need to check oil pressure befor filter and after filter to see the.drop,also possibly pressure relief valve,also seen a few with pipe plugs or leaking Jake selinoids

    does the oil pressure go back to normal after an oil and filter change than drop off after 1500-3000 miles?
