Ha, when you arrive to that ATL terminal, the first thing you'll notice is.. " Welcome 2 da dirty south" as a welcome to that terminal.... i've worked out of that ATL terminal several times, it is ran just like all the others...get in,dont do too much conversation and hopefully get out. If you are inquiring about the drug testing, they do hair and urine for per-employment..... if you are concerned about the hair..... shave your facial hair and regrow, or armpit or where ever your hair grows back fastest and use that for the hair test. i know these knightaholics are gonna bash me, but hey i shoot straight

Hey thanks for the info..... I'm not concerned with the drug testing though, not an issue for me...

I wanted to know what type of physical testing they did? Like pushing, pulling, squatting, crawling or what? Just curious and wanted to know what to expect..
-
I can't remember, but I swear that I didn't have to do any tests like that when I went with them....but that was several years ago too though
'STUDTRUCKIN Thanks this. -
During the orientation physical, Knight doctors had me pull a 1969 volkswagon with a chain tied around my waist. You have to be able to pull it for a total and no less than 12 steps.

The physical test is know as the "step test". mock stepping in and out of a truck for like 3 mins, lifting a box of weights and carrying it across the room(10-15 feet) set it down and return it about 10 times. lifting a box and squating down a bunch of times. And also the VW thing PT mentioned
. It is fairly easy.
STUDTRUCKIN and Professional-Trucker Thank this. -
Its very easy, you will not even work up a sweat...lol
STUDTRUCKIN Thanks this. -
I was in Knight's Squire program last winter and was very satisfied with their program and the other drivers I talked to were happy with the company.
Roknric Thanks this. -
Have you finished training and now on your own?
